This is a project I started in January, 2014. It is a series of large scale drawings that incorporate prints to translate the thought process involved in creating artwork.

Making imagery is based on a continuous dialogue between materials and the eye, forever evaluating composition, tonality, and form, with each additional mark. The image can seem to take on a life of its own as it progresses, which is what I was aiming for with this project. I followed a new direction suggested in every discreet step, without having a set plan in mind.
